STEP 1: Before you apply:

  • Check the eligibility criteria
  • Check which target group you belong to
  • Check the admission requirements of the program you want to apply to on your desired host university website
  • When you apply as an exchange student, make sure that the obtained credits will be recognized by your home university.

NB: The current call is open ONLY for master exchange mobility (1 semester). There is no degree mobility opportunities available.

Do you want to increase your international experience, discover a new educational system and complement your current degree with credits obtained in a top European university: apply as an exchange student!

Bear in mind that the CARIBU application is only for the admission to the CARIBU scholarship program. If you are accepted in the CARIBU program, you will need to then follow the standard application procedures in the desired host university. It is your responsibility to undertake all admission steps in the host university in due time. Failure to do so may result in the rejection of your admission at the host university and therefore a cancellation of the CARIBU scholarship.

STEP 2: Gather all your documents:

During the application process, you will have to submit supporting documents. Make sure you have them all with you before you start the online application.

NB: All documents should be in .PDF format. Keep the originals, they will be asked later during the administrative procedure.

For all Master exchange applicants (check-list)

  • A clear copy of your passport (considering time constraints, only candidates with a valid passport will be considered)
  • motivation letter
  • Curriculum Vitae with details on Education, Work experience, Language proficiency, Extra-curricular activities and engagements, Skills developed
  • Recommendation letters (please do NOT send recommendation letters directly to the CARIBU secretariat – add them to your file)
  • Copy of your previous diplomas (Bachelor’s degree)
  • The last transcript of record at Master’s level
  • English language certificate (preferably IELTS or TOEFL) – check what level is required in your desired host university

STEP 3: Apply by email

Send all your documents in PDF format by email to the CARIBU local coordinator at your home university (check the contact page) before the 31st of October 2016.

The current call for applications is now opened until the 31st of October 2016. It is ONLY for Master exchange.

CLAIM PROCEDURE

Candidates who were not selected or who are on the reserve list can send an appeal within a period of 1 week (7 days after the announcement of results). If the appeal is well-argumented, your file will be re-opened and a new screening will take place. Please contact us  for details on how to make an appeal.
